Weekend Antiquing - Part 1

Had a fun, but terribly hot, weekend antiquing with my husband and sister. First up was The Fancy Flea, which I've posted about before. It happens twice a year in Plant City, FL. This past Saturday was crazy packed. Never seen crowds like this before. I'm thinking there must have been more advertising for it this year because even Chick Fil A showed up in addition to the local food trucks.

And unlike last November when I was wrapped up like a mummy and the winds were blowing, we had sweat dripping from every part of our bodies and couldn't wait to get home and jump in the pool. I swear Florida is like the red-headed stepchild to the rest of the U.S. While everyone else is enjoying fall weather and clothes, we're still running our A/C full blast.

Because you can never have too much 1985 George Michael.

We ended up getting some great pieces last April, but only walked out with a couple pieces of artwork, some local honey, a coffee burlap sack, and this little beauty.

Stay tuned for part deux tomorrow.
