Trina Turk for Banana Republic

Yesterday was the launch day of the limited edition Trina Turk collection for Banana Republic. Did you shop online or in the store? I really wanted the tropical shorts but they were no where to be found online. So I think I'm going to have to try and hunt them down in the store.

And the promo codes floating around for 25% off and 30% off don't make the cut when it comes time to check out. The only code that seemed to work for me was the one I received in the mail attached to the brochure announcing the collection. "BLUESKY" promo code will get you $25 off your purchase of $100 June 7 - 13. I also had a $10 reward in my statement.  Unfortunately, neither "BRSUMMER25" nor "WYMRT9BDM624" will get you the 25% off or 30% off respectively. However, you can squeeze another nickle out of Banana Republic by going through Ebates and getting 2% cash back.

So what did I end up getting since the tropical shorts were just a tease? I got a strapless dress that I plan to wear with my white Zara blazer. And I got that gorgeous citron statement necklace that seems to go with everything in her collection. There were other things I wanted as well, but I had to stop at these two items.

    1. I'm just hoping my boobs don't tumble out of the top of the dress. And because I can't go braless, I couldn't get any of the one shoulder dresses or tanks.
That squirrel was so cooperative! He let me get so close to him, like he was posing and then waiting for food.
The car is great. I love it. Thank you for asking! Have a great weekend, Carol.
