Sunday BBQ

There are a lot of foods that I just can't find in Connecticut like I could back home in Florida such as, wings, Cuban bread, and BBQ. What I really miss is going to Ribfest each November in downtown St. Pete. You get to sample all kinds of delicious meat and award winning sauces.


While at the grocery store yesterday, I noticed a great deal on boneless pork loin. I slow cooked it in a mixture of Mojo Criollo, water, and a garlic clove. After 6 hours in the crock pot I hacked it up with a cleaver, added it to Ciabatta rolls, and drizzled the pulled pork sammie with BBQ sauce. Yum!
